化學工程、高分子流體力學先驅者 Robert Byron Bird 逝世，享年 96
R. B. Bird 大師對輸送現象的貢獻這裡就不 再詳述，有興趣者可至下方連結。
據說 R. B. Bird 是位好奇心極高的學者，碰到不懂的問題便會到圖書館翻書徹底了解，這應該就是造就他成為化學工程、高分子流體力學先驅者的原因。
